Can someone tell me if this appears to be showing right. I`m thinking there should be something showing for the author of the template (copyright info) or something.

looks correct in FireFox 1.5.0.6 and has a small issue in the IE6: Some text is placed on top of the enlargement glass (correct word?), the text is "Go!".

I can’t see any further errors in how it shows. If you think you should place a copyright notice somewhere (like in the footer) you could add it. I wouldn’t say it’s a necessity though (assuming the original author granted you/everyone the permission to use it).

          Use the "Ditto" snippet there.

Well call me a noob but I have no idea what to do with that. When I start a "New Document" in the manager it has a place called "Snippets" and it shows a list of them I can use but that doesn`t work either. Someone might have to walk me through this. Sorry guys. sad

If you feel like a "noob" (as I did too laugh ), then its a good idea to use the "default template" in the "default install" (i.e. NOT minimal!) as a starting point. This is a real great example which can show you a lot of the "what-can-be-done" and "how-easy-that-is-!" It does not include Ditto though. But, for a beginner, NewsListing (used in the template), will be good enough, in the practical as in the tutorial sense.
You can replace all the html-stuff with your own, so that you have your own look&feel. And then: start going!

Rerun the installer. There’s an option that is unchecked by default to install a demo site. The reason it’s unchecked is because it replaces all the content in your site. Then you’ll have some demo content with which you can learn and play.

                      Hope this helps!
