Idiot needs help uploading new template

    After initial installation of modx, how do I upload a new template.
    The only reference I find to uploading is a warning saying uploading inhibited.

        Directory writable?No.

        Upload feature inhibited - make sure uploads are supported and the directory is writable for PHP.


        How do I make the directory writable??

          CHMOD it 777 via ftp program, OR make a new folder in templates/ e.g. templates/mytemplate and upload your css and images there.
