    Hi,

Probably a very stupid question. I have tried several times to change the standard template to a custom template. but it doesnt work. What is the correct way to change a template, were to put the files like a map with images and a map css with a style sheet. and the index.php or html.

And when I upload the files, wats next to do into my manager.

Basicly, how to change the template instead of the default template.

    Thx

Templates are managed in the manager. You can probably find most of the basics well covered at one of our community member’s ongoing tutorial site:

If you mean how to change the default template, in Manager, go to Administration, System configuration. In the Site Settings tab, scroll down to Default Template, and choose the template you want, then save the configuration.

I find out this, it is logical and it is not difficult but my problem is that I can’t find directions how to load dowloaded template to MODx
or should I unzip downloaded free template and then with editor copy paste content of .css files, write name of template etc. do all manual?

you need to copy past the template code into a new template in the menu recources-templates then upload your images in the a folder that matches the links insite your template same goes for the css file(s).
