    Hello,
first: it seems the best CMS I ever tried, including Typo3, Conpresso and Mambo, especiallay from a designers and web developers point of view.

But I’m just starting to get the whole image. I’m wondering what ist the best way to have two different content elements on one page. A small News Box Content with own headline and longtext, plus article content with longtitle, content ... Do I have two define a new TemplateVariable? Or is there a better way? Chunks? Snippets? Or not doable huh (It shouldn’t be in blog style or news listing style).

And can different content elements on one page have different publishing dates (in and out)?

    Thanks for your help! Guenter

Actually, you can do it in several different ways, whichever suits your fancy. There are snippets designed to get or generate content in a number of different formats. And TVs, of course, are always good for adding another content element; after all [*content*] is really just a default TV.

As far as items having different publish/unpublish dates, you can use a TV with @DOCUMENT bindings for it, and have the document’s publish date set. Or use the NewsListing snippet and have the document’s publish date set. I’m sure others will be able to think of other methods.

As I said, several different ways.

Found another way to do this which would work especially if only wanting to do for specific pages -
