Has anyone got a fix to the problem with the dropdown menu yet?
This is the only template with a workable dropdown menu that I could find, and would actually like to use it in my own template. Is that ok?
SoftDux can you test the style included in latest 1.1 version?
see the first post for updated version 1.1

Hi, thats my first post here, and i just have a question. I’m a really newbie in MODx so this question. I edited the colours a bit, but i’m not able to find the variable for the white row at the search-field. almost everything is changend, but this row(goes straight from left to right) will stay white no watter which hexcode-color i change. i hope its clear, if not i can add the css and a screenshot.
Do you use Firefox? If so, do you have the
Web developer extension? If not, get it. It has a great feature to outline the current element what you hover on with mouse, and show in the statusbar what the element is and where (outline > outline current element). Then by viewing the CSS (css > view css), you can see what’s set to those elements. Or alternatively you could get something like
CSSViewer what can display the css info.
It seems that the element in question is div with a id #closer and it’s inside a div #page. Now by looking at #closer in the css there is a style: background-image: url(imgs/bgcloser.jpg); so maybe the white you are seeing is that background image.
