Lightbox Gone Wild

Dear Adam did you manage to implement Lightbox Gone Wild in modx?

Yes I did actually. I had a few problems as I mentioned on the lightbox gone wild site but they were CSS problems not MODx problems.

I didn’t make any snippets or plugins or anything to get Lightbox working with MODx because the system is so simple anyway. You could write a snippet to inlude the javascript but it’s probably best to keep the js files external for performance reasons.

You can see my implementation at http://www.cnb-usa.com. Just click the links below the image on the homepage (disclosure windows are annoying I know, but you gotta do what the client wants).

If anyone has problems getting lightbox working I’m happy to help out.

Really? Any javascript errors?

It could be CSS related I suppose. The lightbox CSS does see to cause problems with sites that use a lot of CSS.

well somethings gotta be happening in JS or it would be working like a normal link. I’ll fire up the Mac little later today and do some testing.

that’s ok for me on the same config, it’s strange.

Verify links are dead in Safari. But I did get a "World leaks" error message involving the javascript interpreter when I closed the window, whatever that means in safarispeak.
