Trouble Skinning the manager

I’m working on a new manager template style, more similiar to MODx branding colours.

The standard MODx manager css seems very dirty there is more duplicate backgrond images like : ’managertheme’/images/buttonbar_gs.gif and manager/media/images/miscs/buttonbar_gs.gif

In my css I had removed all reference to external folder of manager template (like manager/media/images/miscs/buttonbar_gs.gif) and now all work fine.

There is only two big bugs:

1) Top bar background colour (the blu row wirh admin icon in top of the manager) need to be modifiìy in manager/frames/topbar.php

2) Manage Resouce (section with template, tv,chunks,snippets, pulig, meta) tabs backgroung images refers to manager/media/images/miscs/...

My questions:

1) how can i modify backgroung tabs in ’manage resource’? where is the manage resource php file?

2) @ core stuff:- I will make a new ’cleaned version’ of standard manager template to concur more easy custom manager template without overwrite original files - can I?

This is My beta version of Green manager template if you want try it - you don’t need to overwrite core files for basic version - only upload media/manager/style/MODxGreen folder.

Than select MODXGreen in manager template settings

If you want black top bar in manager modify line 19 in manager/frames/topbar.php :
like this

background: #000000;

or upload manager/frames/topbar.php included in zip file (for 0.9.1 release)

OK I solved (alone :’():: manage resource refers to tabs.css in manager/media/style

I must’ve missed this the first time round!

I just found this topic, it’s weird. I’ve been mssing a lot of new topics/posts lately.

Anyway, nice one. I’ll make sure to use this. I like it better, looks more like MODx color, rather than the blue version.
