I am working on a school website, where I need to create a website with registration that provides the following basic features:

- Document / File hosting
- Image Gallery
- Calendar

Any suggestion?

Just a quick response as I am away on a course (MS Access Applications ) but here’s a bit to get you started.

Look at http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php/topic,2425.0.html.

EasyPeasy Gallery 2 will do the gallery

Document / file hosting can prob be done with sottwell’s DocMan http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php/topic,290.0.html

Calendar is currently under devlopement http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php/topic,2318.0.html

You can restrict access to these pages based on the webuser settings in the /manager.

Hope that helps a bit

For the calendar, while the calendar under developement looks very promising, if you need something now, checkout www.easyphpcalendar.com

I just setup one last night. It’s 19.95 US though and uses a separate backend db or can be flatfile.
