Load Balancing - is this possible? has anyone done it?

Hi,

I am currently recommending MODxCMS for a massive corporate business and so far they are very impressed what MODx has to offer for their site, one question which has come up is load balancing due to the size of the organisation and their business they work exclusivly with load balancing technoglogy, i.e.

2x Load Balancers
2x Web Servers
2x DB Servers

Is load balancing possible today with MODx or has anyone been able to setup their load balanced environment without any issues?

It certainly can be done. We did a large deployment on EC2 that actually ran >100 instances of front-end web servers during peak traffic, scaling down and up automatically as needed. Chat off-list about it?

I will be designing the in house web architecture an offline chat would be great, it could be a big win for the MODx team and portfolio.
