I see it has been been about 3.5 years since it was initially posted.
Would it be possible for you to add the new Wayfinder menu or provide some tips about how to do this myself?

A couple of the chunks are missing ({{validate}} and the Ditto chunk tpl rightnews) but it shouldn’t be too much trouble to make them. The doc IDs for Wayfinder and Ditto will need adjusting for your site layout. I don’t know why the content section is in a <dl><dt>... set of containers; I removed them from mine and it didn’t make any difference. You’ll also need to do something about the RSS feed link or you’ll end up with a lot of 404 error messages in your server logs!

I did a quick-and-dirty chunk tpl for Ditto’s rightnews tpl
<p>[+introtext+] ...<a href="[~[+id+]~]">More</a></p>
Another change I made to bring it more up-to-date was to add the &hideSubMenus parameter to the Wayfinder call and remove the styling that hides the submenus from the site.css file.
