I have a task - make a template(s) with 2 cols. Left one displays the current [*content*], Right one differs form page to page (4 pages total). For example it should contain thumbs in the gallery page, and a ’random pic’ in the home page. For the rest 2 pages content of the Right Col should be editable manually, preferred via Rich text editor.
Any ideas/tutorials how this could be solved?
This is a perfect example of a TV.
You create a tv called rightcol and then place [*rightcol*] where the right column content goes.
Make sure you select that the TV be a rich text editor.
This should give you exactly what you describe.
Or you could always have 4 templates...
