New Pirate template

I have a new pirate template at http://www.scottydelicious.com .  I am in the process of Zen Gardening all my other templates so they all work with my current XHTML page, that way you can use the "A list apart JavaScript CSS Swticher".  So, when I get the other templates CSS files corrected so they all work with a single XHTML doc, I will post the entire thing.  For now, have a look at my new pirate theme! Let me know what you think of it, and the whole "switch the CSS, not the whole template" idea.

hi

Argh me matey! Fun stuff indeed!

Nice work! Is it just me or does the page flicker a bit in Firefox when you switch pages?

No, I noticed that too. Does anyone know what is causing this? I thought maybe it was FOUC, but I use a <link> to load the external stylesheet, not @import. I haven’t noticed it on the other templates I have been working on this morning.

Well, the problem is FF 1.0.x. I installed FF1.5RC2, and it works fine, which leads me to believe it is just a bug in the Gecko engine when rendering graphics that CSS overlaps.
