Hi,
Our PHP5.2, MySQL, IIS6.0 based application residing on RackSpace
dedicated server is frequently getting following FastCGI Error:
Error Details:
•The FastCGI process has failed frequently recently. Try the request again in a while
•Error Number: -2147467259 (0x80004005).
•Error Description: Unspecified error
HTTP Error 500 - Server Error.
Internet Information Services (IIS)
Looking for technical consultation to resolve the issue for good.

It sounds like the issue may be related to the PHP/FastCGI implementation.

Hi
It sounds to me like the PHP / FastCGI has not been installed correctly, either the permissions are incorrect or some files are not in the correct place.
If you follow through this guide double checking everything it should get you working.

I forgot to mention, if you are with RackSpace you should just be able to drop them a support ticket and they will carry out the install for you
