i just moved my site from the local host to a server (godaddy) and when i try to change the file manager path, i get this error:

i have all the permissions in the cache folder,and its contents as 777. thats what was on the wiki. should i be using something else?
i posted on the other forum, and they directed me to this one and said its a windows server thing and to get a windows experts help:)

Not sure what they have to be set as on the godaddy server but try changing the cache folder and all it’s contents to 755 as some servers don’t allow 777

i just had to log into it through the server not the ftp. in case anyone ever has this problem again.
