Logging into manager locks session on IIS. Cant load site.

Hi everyone,

I’m evaluating ModX and have run into a serious problem. I’ve uploaded a ModX site to a shared IIS server, now whenever I log into the manager it’s as if the session file gets locked somehow. I log into the manager and the document tree won’t load, everything hangs. If I then try and view the site again afterwards, it wont load. Again - it just hangs. I’ve traced it to the session_start() call. Obviously this is a critical problem as I can’t roll out any ModX based site to my customers with this happening.
Please help me to diagnose and fix this!
