I have just moved a website of a client to a new webserver after the old server was hacked. The new server is using IIS instead of Apache. Although the MODx website tells that IIS is supported, it turns out that I had a lot of problems installing MODx, but finally managed it.

The website is now online, but whenever I try to edit and save a page I get the following file not found error:

Firefox can't find the file at http://www.soepeldoordebocht.nl/manager/index.php?a=30.

(See the attachment for more info)

Because of this error I am not able to save any changes to my pages, which makes MODx useless. Does anyone know how to fix this?? What file is it looking for?? How can I re-link it in the MODx code??

I am using MODx 1.0.1 (I don’t know the version of the IIS server)

Thats a nice looking website you have there.

Have you updated the file paths in the MODx Configuration pages? or does this also not let you save?

In the past when I have moved sites from Apache to IIS sometimes we get blank manager screens and also we do is upload the MODx install folder to the site for the version in use and run the install in upgrade mode selecting not to overwrite any site files / snippets etc.

This is a quick way to fix any path / file errors.
