    Greetings,

I am so impressed with the modxcms system its hard to believe that such a designer friendly system can also meet the needs of developers. I recently installed Evolution 1.0.0 on a shared hosting LAMP system at Hostgator with zero difficulty. Now I am wanting to install on a GoDaddy hosted IIS7 system and am having a bit of trouble and could use some guidance.

I installed everything to the root but have not been able to get anything other than a 500 error.
The site is located at http://www.freepuppyreport.com/

I was poking around the settings on my hosting control panel and saw that there is a choice between Classic and Integrated Pipeline modes. I have not been able to find anything on the modxcms site that sayd which to use. Here is GD’s explanation of pipeline mode:

"Pipeline mode refers to how a Web server processes client requests. IIS 7 offers two pipeline modes. Integrated pipeline mode handles all requests through a unified pipeline because of the integration of ASP.NET’s runtime with the Web server. IIS 7’s classic mode behaves in the same manner as IIS 6, using two pipelines to process requests--one for native-code application components and the other for managed code application components."

Is this an issue with Evolution 1.0.0 and this mode?

    Thank you

I have since moved it to www.freepuppyreport.com/mx
and now get a ’service is unavailable’ message. I’m bewildered.lol
I think it must have something to do with godaddy’s iis setup becaues i’ve not had success setting up other windos cms systems either.
