    I have installed maxigallery and have set up the assets/galleries folder. I put in the snippet code into the document editor and can now see the manage button. If I click that and upload images, after I hit upload I am brought to a blank white page for some reason. The files are uploaded into a folder named "9". Now I do not need to make child galleries so I would like to display the contents of the folder "9" on the page gallery. When I try to do [[MaxiGallery]] All I get is the manage button. What is wrong?

        In MODx make sure the page running the MaxiGallery snippet is not set as cachable and give that ago.

        By default MaxiGallery will store pictures in folders with numbers which generally match the ID of the page where the Gallery is stored.

          It is not set as cachable. Here is a rundown of the problems I am having.
          I can upload pictures by hitting the manage photos button, when I upload them I am sent to a blank white page that has my url in the address bar but that is it. When I check the folder, the image was uploaded. Then when I go back to the gallery and refresh there are no images listed. The images are in the corresponding folder as the page id, however nothing is showing up. Also if I go to manage photos and hit sort, nothing shows up, if I resynch, same thing.....

            It sounds like its having problems with the thumbnails have you checked the Maxi Gallery requirements to make sure you have everything setup such as the GD Library which handles images.

            http://wiki.modxcms.com/index.php/MaxiGallery#Usage

            For me on one of my sites I run this

            [[MaxiGallery? &display=`embedded` &embedtype=`slimbox` &pics_in_a_row=`2` &max_thumb_size=`200` &max_pic_size=`0` &thumb_use_dropshadow=`1` ]]

              I think the problem is the GD library, I am trying to install it but having no luck. I have the extension already and uncommented in the php.ini file but it will not take effect. Running on a windows server, any idea how to make it work?

                    Sounds good,

                    Ok in your main server php.ini normally in C:\Windows\ you need to enable

                    [PHP_GD2]
                    extension=php_gd2.dll

                    Make sure this DLL is in your php\ext folder.

                    Save php.ini then from cmd prompt type IISRESET (this will restart all websites on your server and reload the php.ini)

                    Now create a php test page and enter

                    <?php
                    phpinfo();
                    ?>

                    And run this in your browser, do you see that GD2 is loaded?

                    On the Onesmarthost servers phpinfo shows

                    gd
                    GD Support enabled
                    GD Version bundled (2.0.34 compatible)

                      Do I have to restart all sites or can I just restart the one I am using? I dont want to restart all as this server is hosting quite a few sites...
