    Hi all,

    my environment:
    PHP Version 5.2.9-2
    IIS 6.0
    Windows 2003 Server R2 Service Pack 2
    MySQL 5.1.34-community

    Update MODx 0.9.6.2 to 0.9.6.3

    The messages I get:
    Warning: fopen(E:/Inetpub/wwwroot/testshop/ixs-technicaldivision/manager/media/style/login.html) [function.fopen]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in E:\Inetpub\\manager\includes\accesscontrol.inc.php on line 129

    Warning: filesize() [function.filesize]: stat failed for E:/Inetpub/wwwroot///manager/media/style/login.html in E:\Inetpub\wwwroot\\\manager\includes\accesscontrol.inc.php on line 130

    Warning: fread(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource in E:\Inetpub\wwwroot\\\manager\includes\accesscontrol.inc.php on line 130

    Warning: fclose(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource in E:\Inetpub\wwwroot\\\manager\includes\accesscontrol.inc.php on line 131

    The cache is writable, there are no spaces before <?php or after ?> in the config.inc.php.

    On this server are running a some of other MODx instances with version 0.9.6.2 without any problem. All instances of MODx are using the same database server and the same database user, but different databases. The one that is not running is a test environment and I tested the update here first.

    I’ve already read the following topics:
    http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php/topic,18730.msg117752.htm
    http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php?topic=27925.0

    But as it is an update and the other MODx instances still running, they don’t help me.

    Anyone had this before and got a solution?

      Your paths look wrong

      In one instance with what you pasted it shows

      E:/Inetpub/wwwroot/testshop/ixs-technicaldivision/manager/media/style/login.html

      and then it misses out the wwwroot which is important

      E:\Inetpub\\manager\includes\accesscontrol.inc.php

      Could you let me know what paths you have set in site settings,

      Thanks

        I’ve only tried to remove the local path and missed one entry.

        The local path as is is correct and does exists, but it doesn’t read the manager theme from the database.

          Hi Stefanie,

          Could you post your path settings from the site settings tabs.

          Does File Manager work ok?

            No, I can’t, because I can’t login.

            The only thing I get is the following error messages, with complete path now as they are already public:

            Warning: fopen(E:/Inetpub/wwwroot/testshop/ixs-technicaldivision/manager/media/style/login.html) [function.fopen]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in E:\Inetpub\wwwroot\testshop\ixs-technicaldivision\manager\includes\accesscontrol.inc.php on line 129

            Warning: filesize() [function.filesize]: stat failed for E:/Inetpub/wwwroot/testshop/ixs-technicaldivision/manager/media/style/login.html in E:\Inetpub\wwwroot\testshop\ixs-technicaldivision\manager\includes\accesscontrol.inc.php on line 130

            Warning: fread(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource in E:\Inetpub\wwwroot\testshop\ixs-technicaldivision\manager\includes\accesscontrol.inc.php on line 130

            Warning: fclose(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource in E:\Inetpub\wwwroot\testshop\ixs-technicaldivision\manager\includes\accesscontrol.inc.php on line 131

            The database table modx_system_settings says
            filemanager_path: E:\Inetpub\wwwroot\testshop\ixs-technicaldivision\assets\
            rb_base_dir: E:\Inetpub\wwwroot\testshop\ixs-technicaldivision\assets\

            The path is correct and does exists. I didn’t change anything before the update and it was working as a test instance before the update.

              Ah,

              Just noticied no style is listed in your errors

              Direct in the database via phpmyadmin under modx_system_settings set the following

              manager_theme = MODxLight
              rb_base_dir = assets/
              rb_base_url = assets/
              filemanager_path = E:/Inetpub/wwwroot/testshop/ixs-technicaldivision/assets/

                manager_theme already was MODxLight, changed the other values, but the error is the same right now.

                  Does MODxLight exist?

                  E:/Inetpub/wwwroot/testshop/ixs-technicaldivision/manager/media/style/MODxLight

                  It might be worth while downloading the latest version of MODx again and running the upgrade again incase any of the core files are missing, just to confirm whenever I do an upgrade in IIS I overwrite all the existing files in /wwwroot and not just upload the install folder.
