    Hi there,

I hate windows, I hate IIS.....why do people use them.....AHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anyway....I seem to have a "odd" caching issue having setup PHP, MySQL, installed MODx and created a template.

When I assign my template to the first document (the one the installer creates) I still see the MODx minimal template?
In fact if I change my template, or create new ones the page never gets updated, I simply see the old one?

I dont know where to start with this one, looking at the cache dir it can be written to and all files etc are there. The tickbox to clear cache is also set, and I have manually pressed the clear cache button in the manager.....but the page remains. I have obviously cleared my cache a few times!!

Is it an install issue do u think?

    thanks in advance...

    j

      Hi J,

Did you manage to fix this when you set everyone group to full control on the cache dir?

          Hi guys...

          Sorry for not updating this.
Very strange issue. Yeah when I set the permissions the pages got cached properly and the whole weird annoying problem went away.
Funny thing is I have used MODx on several other IIS machines and never had an issue like this....
