Hi,
I worked on Windows environment to build modx website. the environment on this test machine was wondows and WAMP 2 (phpmyadmin / mysql dump).
After successful development we tried to move our MODX website to live web server, where the environment is Windows, php (manually installed in C:\php), mySQL Administrator 1.2.12.
Errors:
1- I installed Modx on Live server first.
2- Exported database from local machine’ phpmyadmin (WAMP/MySQL).
3- Tried to import this database to live machine MySQL Administrator and got ERROR Something like:
Analyzation failed, database from mysql dump can’t be imported into mySQL administrator
4- Then i can’t explain after so much effort how we imported that database into mySQL administrator (i’m sure it wasn’t a right way)
5- Since that time we are having diffrent kind of errors with modx.
6- main error is whenever user makes changes to page contents they don’t affect live pages until we delete modx cache directly from directory location C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\assets\cache, i know in modx we can click CLEAR CACHE button but that link doesn’t work as well, so we have to delete those cache directly from modx physical directory.
Please let me know about steps to move modx from development environment to live in the senario of from phpmyadmin (WAMP) to mySQL Administrator, as there is a compatibility issues.
Another thins is about modx cache why its not being deleted automatically whenever user make changes to pages, we can’t delete them even from modx manager area.
Please help.

Modx installed on main root In windows:
C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\assets
Right Click ( ’cache’ folder) -> properties -> security -> select ’Everyone’ -> allow MODIFY permissions
Mean give permission to user Everyone to Modify CACHE folder.
Should work.
