As you all might know I’m a great big fan of MODx and since day one its ran perfectly on Windows 2003.

Wow, this is too good to pass up. I have been curious to see how MODx works on Windows...now all I need to do is think up a site to build. I better think fast since this is a great offer.

Question: can I host any domain tld? For example I have a .br domain, will there be any issues?

        Hi,

If you already own the .br its no problem at all, all you have to do is update the domain name servers to use ours and once DNS updates the website name / email will point to our servers.

I forgot to mention anyone who already owns a domain name by updating the domain name servers and signing up its totally free!!

Anyone worried about migrating their existing MODx site to us? No problem drop us an email and we can schedule it in to be done free of charge.

        Thanks

            I’ll take one!

I am wrestling with installing Modx on WAMP right now (w2K3 R2). Can’t get the thing to do the install.. It does all the preinstall checks but stops at creating connection to the database! urgh.

Also, do you have LDAP enabled on your installs? I know with the LAMP install of PHP you have to explictly state ldap,.. but could not find any similar explicit option during the Windows install process.

re the account ... you can contact me "off thread" at ken (at) adler (dot) Net

            Thanks

              Hi Ken,

LDAP is currently disabled on the server, but depending on the needs it could be enabled for a specific domain.

              Will PM you.
