Hi all,
Just thought I would recommend www.mediatemple.net for modx users.
I use their GridServer service and it seems ideal for MODX installations.
Cheers

There have been reports of issues with MODx and the Grid in the past. I’m not sure if those have been resolved in more recent releases. Mostly dealing with database issues I think, which for a DB-based CMS is very important.

Yes I had a number of issues relating to databases and server set up until I found MediaTemple.
I am a novice when it comes to code and servers etc. I did have a dedicated server but its very complex for a novice to administer. I have found the GridServer set up a lot more convenient as there is an idiot proof interface for setting up e-mail accounts, ftp accounts databases etc. but there are all the required server permissions for MODX to function perfectly.
Just thought it might help people who do not wish to wrestle with dedicated server issues. Also they provide very good support via there online support system or on the telephone which has been really useful for me.
