I have tried to install modx on sourceforge for my project web. But permissions fails.
I have set permissions for the indicated files/folders to 777, but the install script always says they are not writeable.
Any solution?
If the host is using suPHP or suExec, the permissions need to be 755 for folders and 644 for files. I don’t know what sourceforge.net uses.
BTW,
SourceForge.net uses a shared environment for the project and developer web services. You should assume that all files uploaded to our servers may be viewed by other users.
