Hivelocity is our 3rd party host and since they ran hsphere upgrade and mysqladmin flush_hosts command yesterday, my site has not been working. First the site was not available, then it was up with strange errors happening in MODx, and now site homepage is up, but sub-pages return this error:
« MODx Parse Error »
MODx encountered the following error while attempting to parse the requested resource:
« Execution of a query to the database failed - Table ’./tbjca_modx/modx_site_content’ is marked as crashed and should be repaired »
SQL: SELECT DISTINCT sc.published FROM `tbjca_modx`.`modx_site_content` sc LEFT JOIN `tbjca_modx`.`modx_document_groups` dg on dg.document = sc.id WHERE (sc.id IN (1) AND sc.published=1 AND sc.deleted=0 ) AND (sc.privateweb=0) GROUP BY sc.id LIMIT 1
[Copy SQL to ClipBoard]
Parser timing
MySQL: 0.0057 s (1 Requests)
PHP: 0.0547 s
Total: 0.0604 s
I am just a mere webmaster...not trained in technical aspects of programming. Anyone interested in giving me an easy to understand explanation of what happened, and if I should be concerned about Hivelocity going forward? At this point, I am worried about the contents of my site. Any help is most appreciated.
Thank you,
Apryl Stern

The error states the database has crashed and needs to be repaired. Run the DB repair tools in phpMyAdmin or get them to do it at your webhost. Apparently they didn’t take sites offline before running upgrades.
