I’m trying to create a repeating region in the admin so a client can create product(s)
I know you can create a tv that will accommodate a product ( something like a catalog ) but I don’t want it to be the traditional way ( a new product page and Ditto to pull the products into a main list page ) I want a catalog that I can add products to one single page. So if I have a page that is "grommets", I want the client to be able to click an "add" button, then a group of fields like:
product name
product image ( linked to open a jQuery lightbox or Thickbox )
description
price
then a "save" button, then the client can just click "add" again, and add another item, so all of them appear on a single page ( no need to create a separate page for each item )
I usually use a great little flat file CMS called "CMS From Scratch" that has a neat little feature called "sets". It is very easy to do this kind of thing in CMSFS, but I haven’t been able to get it happening in MODx... any ideas? thanks.
