Hi all.
After installing modx on hosting i noticed one bad thing.
All files on hosting have owner kmfll:pseudo. But files that created/downloaded by php have owner www-data/www-data.
When i login as admin into modx i see and can upload/delete files and images. But when i login as editor i can not see any image.
What can i do? Maybe there is some solution in tinymce filebrowser or something, help please.
also i noticed that i see all files in file browser when i logged in as editor.
but can not see them when i try to insert image into content

You’ll need to set permissions to 777 for any folders/files you want to work with.
Because php is an Apache module, any files created by one of the php scripts (such as uploading via the file manager) will be owned by the Apache user. Any files you upload with your ftp client will be owned by you, and unless you have permissions for "other" to read/write them, the php scripts will not be able to access them. Likewise any files uploaded/created by one of the php scripts will not be accessible by your ftp client.
For this reason, whenever I am on shared hosting, I make sure to get hosting that has some form of suexec, where the "user" is changed to the owner of the php script when it’s run.
As far as the resource browser in TinyMCE, that’s a paths issue. Check the path settings in your Configuration, the Interface and Features tab. Also check your editor user, in the User tab, and make sure the "use system defaults" checkbox is checked.
All configured right.
File and folder permissions are 777.
Other managers have default settings.
I can not understand why:
* When i logged in as admin i see images in file browser, and when i logged in as editor i can not see them (just empty folders).
* When i try to upload file (as editor) modx trows error message ’ERROR "Dissalowed file type."’ When i logged as admin all works fine.
I see such problem first time. I have no idea what it can be...

Go edit your "editor" user account. Open the User tab and make sure the checkboxes are all checked for using the system default.
