One of my clients is hosted with Hostgator. I use PHP include for menu and footer for one of her site, it was working perfectly as I just did a minor site maintenance two weeks ago. Just now I was working on her other’s site and needing to pull info from the site that uses include. In panic, I found all includes are gone. I am having a livechat with Hostgator’s support now, but is curious if anyone ever encounter problem like this using PHP include.
Hostgator recently upgrading its servers, and this is not the first time thing got screwed. Another client, one day his Magento site suddenly gone, took me a whole day to realize Hostgator must have messed up something when the server was upgraded.
Lastly, if you have clients hosted with Hostgator, better check out every site just to make sure nothing gone missing. It will be disater if my client found the problem.
yes i had also great problemas with hostgator. 100% one the worst all over the web.
