Just installed Modx at auctionbandits.com and selected the installed Minimal template, but it looks really strange. It would be great if someone could take a look at it and maybe tell me if they’ve seen this weird glitch before.

Try uploading the contents of your assets/templates/default/images/ folder.
They seem to have become corrupted when you FTP’d them.
Hi, tried re-uploading the entire assets folder, but nothing changed.
The image files look great in the images folder on my end, though. lol.
Also, when I install the default Modx template, I get a background that’s so dark grey you can’t even read it.
And all this from a fresh install, so I haven’t really even had the chance to mess it up myself!
Anyway, any ideas are appreciated.

I think something is awry with my installation then.
I’ve replaced the tile.gif and it’s still screwed up.
I have modx installed locally and it looks fine on my laptop.
The fact that both templates (the modx template background is showing up black,) are screwy in my online installation tells me something else is wrong.
