Help SEO Strict URL (i think) issue - hundreds of 404s

    No idea what has happen, but all directories are gone and have been replaced by the base www.mywebsite.com

    e.g.
    \
    If i want to go to topic1

    What use to be
    www.mywebsite.com/page1/topic1

    Is now
    www.mywebsite.com/topic1

    Problem is google indexed all my pages obviously how they have been...now with no directory i am showing hundreds of 404’s (not found).

    Any help would be reallllly appreciated.

      Sounds like you turned off friendly_alias_path at some point.

        Not sure when that happen, but that fixed it. Had to reactivate the href base on the homepage as well.
