mcrypt and PDO requirement

    Hi

    I’d like to use MODx 1.0.2 for a customer’s website whose current (shared) hosting environment doesn’t have mcrypt or PDO installed. According to the requirements list, these aren’t essential, but what would I be missing in MODx without mcrypt or PDO? The site is going to be fairly simple, although it may need a forum (SMF?) installed.

      Nothing for Evo I don’t believe. PDO is used in Revo.
