    Hi everyone,

I had a look at "Website Payments Standard Integration Guide" (pdf) and after I digged in TreasureChest’s code it clearly appears to me that it would be possible to improve TreasureChest.

    (skip)

Looking at pages 365 to 370 of PayPal Standard Payment’s guide gives an idea of which features could be added with the less pain to TreasureChest:
    - discounts (by rate/amount and applying to cart/item)
    - more options names (on0 to on6 instead of on0 to on1 currently)
    - more option values (os1 to os6 instead of os0 to os1 now)
    - tell which option is a "priced option" (though option_index)
    - the default selection for the "priced option" (option_select0 / option_select1)
    - the amount to charge for the "priced option" (option_amount0 / option_amout1)
    - better use of the currency_code variable (also in the cart)
    - a.s.o.

Are others than me interested in improving TreasureChest?

For developpers, I added much comments to TreasureChest most important file: treasurechest.class.php

How TreasureChest works is now much easier to understand from everyone.

The discussion goes on in the development section of the forum.

I’m also currently working on an next release of TreasureChest that should be available in a very few days.

I was obliged to delay a little bit, but TreasureChest 1.1 should be available very soon. I’m currently studying if it is worth including per-product PayPal fields for amount, tax, shipping, a.s.o. and especially how does this combine with the full-cart amount tax, shipping, a.s.o.

Per-product placeholders for these values will surely be available for the cart view.
The question is: will they also be available for the PayPal checkout form or will this functionnality wait until TreasureChest 1.2.

Possibility for discounts might come with TreasureChest 1.2.
I hope in a few weeks or months.
