Adding META Tags from Manager

Hello!

I want to try the META tags administration of MODx (0.9.6.3) for the first time.

I have defined some keywords and a description.
Then, I edited my start page and clicked all keywords and the description, saved it and reloaded the page in the front end.
I look into the source code and can find neither the description tag nor the keywords.

I’m using n individual template. Do I have to insert some code to output the METAs?

Those are "legacy" holdovers from years ago; I believe most of us use TVs for this sort of thing now, and they work much better. Example of doing this here http://www.sottwell.com/how-template-variables-work.html
