How to use friendly urls for special ajax urls

Heyho,

I need to create some friendly urls for an ajax application, dynamically. How to do this?
Every user opens in a new ajax container. I need an url for every user. This should be the solution: index.php?id=1&showprofile=4 -> /profiles/profilename.
Anybody any idea?
