Access denied - everywhere...

I was installing Babel onto MODX Revolution 2.1.3-pl (traditional) and editing the .htaccess file and a plugin for the two contexts that I’d set up. It wasn’t working so I was editing bits, somewhere I went horribly wrong, the whole system has "access denied", I can’t clear the cache and there is a

at the top of the site. I can reset the .htaccess file through my ftp but where do plugin files live so I can delete it? A search on ftp gives me nothing...

The plugins are in the MODX database. You can use PhpMyAdmin to set the disabled field to 1 (or the enabled field to 0 -- can’t remember which it is).

You can also clear the cache manually by deleting everything in the core/cache directory.
