Cannot download Revolution

Hi there,

This might not be the right place, but I’m having some trouble downloading the install files from modx.com.

I’m thrown a 500 error

Can you provide more information about your platform, browser, and steps you took to download the file. The downloads are working fine as far as I can tell.

Sorry my mistake:

Win 7 Pro (fully updated)

Tried with:
IE 9 (fully updated)
Chrome (latest and greatest)
Firefox 4 (fully updated)
Opera (fully updated)

It’s just not working for me when trying via modx.com, tried both Revolution and Evolution.

The error I get is: 500 (Internal Server Error)

Trying both the redirect (normal way) and direct access for wget, neither works. The redirect throws me to: http://modx.com/download/direct/modx-2.1.1-pl.zip

Seems odd though, I just tried downloading MyClientBase (another open source project)and I have no problems there.

Succes... suddenly it worked for me

Thanks for the problem report and for testing the fix for us laugh

— there was an uncaught exception triggering a server error in certain cases.

Glad I could be of assistance... my wife also finds that at times I can be quite bugging ;-)

Can’t wait to get back to ModX after a flirt with Joomla and Wordpress... kiss
