Some basic info needed how to backup with modx

Can somebody help with backupping with modx? In the manager is a back up part, but how should I use all this, it is new to me. Considering that a total crash of Evolution or a devastating hacker could destroy all my resources, modules etc., what to do then with the back up part?

Here’s how to back up.
To restore, use phpMyAdmin or a similar db utility and simply import the backup file.

Note that will only handle the database, you will also need to back up your files by FTP or check your host is backing up for you.
