I’ve finished my website alvise.de/newsite now i want to move up to the top level (out of newsite folder)... but everything goes blank. I can’t even get into the manager?
whats happenned?
i noticed the base url is still "alvise.de/newsite"
Guess i’ll just answer my own questions then this message board gets very quiet sometimes.
I managed to find out after much toil (very much stress) and rummaging that Revo doesn’t have base url settings in the system settings panel. They’re all in the config file in the core folder. (newbies note there are many config files but only the one in the core is relalvent here)
I then manually opened the config file and corrected all references to my "newsite" folder by deleting them.
Transferred across the site from the "newsite" folder up to top level.... and shazam! www.alvise.de
