System setting for absoulte or relative URLs - MODx Revolotion

Is there a system setting for MODx to create all URLs as either absolute or relative?

Note I asked the question here: http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php?topic=60229 and Zi answered with the docs link: http://rtfm.modx.com/display/revolution20/Resources#Resources-LinkingtoaResource for each individual link. I moved my question here because that was a different topic to begin with.

I don’t think there is. There’s a setting for the file manager URL, but I don’t see one for URLs in general.

If you go to System -> System Settings and type URL in the search box, you should see all the URL-related settings.

I’m not sure which you want, but you have some control with the base href tag in the <head> section of your templates:

<base href="[[!++site_url]]" />

Thanks Bob.

I looked through the settings several times and I did not see any option that does what I am wanting. I was hoping it was hidden or something. Maybe this could be an option for future releases? The <base> element is okay to use but I personally prefer not to be forced to use it to get FURLs.
