Move or rename folder containing MODx files?

    I’m really new to MODx so this may be a dumb question:
    - is it possible to rename the folder that the MODx files are in, or will that mess everything up?
    - and/or is it possible to move the MODx files to a different directory or do I have to do an uninstall/reinstall?
