Ok so I have the site all ready and want to make the modx site the default homepage. How do I do this? so when someone goes to mysite.com it lands on the first modx page.
Modx is currently installed in a separate directory. "www.mysite/modx". So how do I move the site to the site root?

why did you make the modx folder?
just move all sub-folders and files into the web-root.
you use FTP, don’t you?

You can either physically move all the files to public_html and do an upgrade install (be sure not to install the sample site or any snippets you have modified). Or you can use an .htaccess file in the root with rewrite rules that send the user to the subdirectory.
