Weblinks target issue

On the following page:

The weblinks are not opening in a new window even though the link attributes field for the resource has

What am I missing here?

I just tested that on Evo 1.0.4 and it worked. I notice that target="_blank" doesn’t appear to be getting rendered in your html source. Perhaps clearing out the site and browser cache and trying again??

Thanks for testing mconsidine. I’m on 1.0.4 also. Tried clearing the cache for both but getting the same result?!

I’ll be that you are using a Wayfinder call to style the menu, no? I had a similar problem about a year ago :

And while I don’t have a copy of the solution at hand, I think I had to edit the chunk being used to include the [+wf.attributes+] placeholder. *Then* the link attribute got rendered.

I’m working on a site created by someone else who used modx and they used Ditto to set up the page I referenced. I’ll see if there is an option in the Ditto documentation that lets me do this.

You will indeed need to reference the link attributes.

In the ditto template you will need to add [+link_attributes+] somewhere in the opening <a> tag. E.g.:
