Revolution FURLs

I’m getting ready to use Revolution for the first time and I can’t seem to get friendly URLs working. Here’s what the FURL settings look like:

I want the pages to be like domain.com/page/subpage and I have renamed ht.access to .htaccess and uploaded it.

I have a portfolio page set up and it’s published but when I click the preview link it goes here: http://dave.ravenflight.net/portfolio.html
The document alias is simply portfolio so I don’t know why it has the .html but even if I manually change it to /portfolio it still 404s.

Anyone know why? Thanks!

You’ll have to give a look at « content types » (in system), remove the .html suffix (save) and you should be good to go

Okay, so I went to content types under the system menu, removed .html as the file extension from HTML content but nothing changed. It’s still putting .html at the end of the URL and it’s still 404ing.

Oh, i forget to say clear the cache (and maybe flush permissions)

I wound up having to reinstall MODx because of some hosting issues and the problem seems to be gone. This time I changed the HTML extension and turned on all the FURL stuff before creating any pages though.
