Main menu lost

    Hi,
    I just began with testing of Revo 2.0.4 and suddenly, I’ve lost the main menu inside the manager.. The only thing that remained visible is home.. The worst thing is I can`t figure out any way to restore it .. Any suggestions?

    Browser:
    Shouldn’t be browser related, Firefox 3.6, IE 8 and Opera 10.63

    No opcode used

    I can see following types of error in log for last day /
    [2010-10-26 09:52:39] (ERROR @ /manager/index.php) Error HY000 executing statement:
    Array
    (

    [1] => 2006
    [2] => MySQL server has gone away
    )

    [2010-10-26 09:58:21] (ERROR @ /home/vhosts/testdomain1910.orgfree.com/manager/controllers/default/header.php : 18) PHP warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach()

      From that error it seems something is wrong with your MySQL server/connection...

      Things I’d try:
      - Reupload setup and run the upgrade install, double check for any errors
      - Check if your mysql server is still running - you seem to be on a free host, so that’s not too reliable in general... try accessing it directly through something like phpmyadmin.

        Yeah, you’re absolutely right, it’s free host with quite a lot of downtimes as I found during my short testing.. Just wanted to try the Revo somewhere before I do any change to my site.

        However, even if the database is normally accessible with Phpmyadmin, modx menu is still missing.. So I’m gonna try to reinstall..
