    Hi,
    Does anyone know how to disable the quick editor,(the editor used when previewing a page) as it does not allow some jquery scripts to be previewed.
    I can only preview the page properly after I logout. So I would rather just disable this feature if possible.

      Before disabling the QM and loosing that function paste the below before the </head> in your template and see if that fixes the issues, remember to clear the site cache though.

       <script>
           jQuery.noConflict();

           // Use jQuery via jQuery(...)
           jQuery(document).ready(function(){
             jQuery("div").hide();
           });

           // Use Prototype with $(...), etc.
           $('someid').hide();
         </script>

      If you really want to turn it off log into the manager >> Elements >>Plugins >> select QM and put a tick in the "disable Plugin" box.

        Thank you for your reply, I do want to turn it off, or at least know how to do it.

          You just need to disable the plugin to disable Quick Manager. I don’t think you can disable QuickEdit, but you could try disabling it’s module. It also has a snippet or plugin that might need to be disabled.

            I’ll probably carry on working without disabling it, as long as I know I can do it. Thanks for the information.
