Error establishing a database connection

Hi your CMS is awsome. i have installed MODX successfully and em also login successfuly in manager. but when i log on to my site .. so Error establishing a database connection it shows there.

please tell me whats a problem ?

Does this happen only when you log in? Or does it happen from time to time on any page? What are we supposed to see at that URL?
