    Hi everybody,

    how you guys develop MODx?

    a) Do you use frameworks like Symfony, Django, CakePHP?
    b) What IDE?
    c) What else?

    Best regards.

I’ll just chime in before the guys see this, but I believe they use Eclipse with some plugins for JIRA, svn, etc so they can all collaborate. I can’t say much on the rest, although I don’t believe they use any frameworks. They do, however, use xPDO for Revolution.
I'm learning more about MODx all the time and loving it.

We use the database object-relational model xPDO, that we built, that you can find info on here: http://docs.modxcms.com/display/xPDO20/

Eclipse. Specifically, with the plugins PHPEclipse for PHP, Spket for JS, Subclipse for SVN, and Web Development Tools. We also use xDebug for debugging, Ant for build scripts, and PHPUnit for unit tests.

          Well, thanks.

Do you guys also use e. g. PEAR (PHP Extension and Application Repository) or Zend Framework or an other php & application repository?

No, not for the core development, though I have used components from both PEAR and ZF on client projects when needed.
