[SOLVED][Revolution-RC2] FURL-suffix? --> Content Types

Hi guys,

I can’t seem to find the system-setting for the FURL-suffix... It’s standard set to .html, but I want it without . Anyone know which setting to add?

In MODx Revolution, the extensions applied to the alias when creating friendly URLs is determined by the Content Type you select for a Resource. You can edit the HTML Content Type to be blank or even / if you want.

The exception is if you mark a Resource as a container and the Content Type has a mime type of text/html. In this case the container_suffix system setting is used instead, which is / by default.

I have not been able to get a furl to work without a file extension. By changing content type extensions I can get site.xx/page. or site.xx/page.htm, but I want to use site.xx/page (no extension whatsoever) - whenever I try to save a content type without entering an extension, it will not allow me to save such a record (red border around the extenion entry box.) I am using version 2.07. What am I doing wrong?

It appears to be a bug when creating new Content Type records. You can edit existing records and make the field blank though, so just add it with some value and then edit it inline. Or even easier, just edit the existing HTML Content Type record.

Hi I’m having a problem with the following htaccess issue:

latest.js/

I have a script that reads all .js files created by modx but they can’t be found without the trailing slash.
I need latest.js to work and not be auto redirected to latest.js/

Can I add something into the .htaccess file or change any settings?
Content type of the file is set to javascript. The resource is a container.
I have tried removing the container suffix but this just breaks.

Any help would be great. David
