After site upgrade "?phpMyAdmin" appears in all links

Hi There,

After upgrading a site to 1.0.3, all links have some code added to them.

For example:
www.domain.com/contact-us

Has become:
www.domain.com/contact-us?phpMyAdmin=%2CaQGsp6CNVONf654tUHuI%2CWNKd3

Is this something to do with the database export before upgrading? These links are now hard coded into every link on the site - eek!

Any help would be most radical.

It’s really weird.

It only affects links that have been created in the Rich Text Editor and they look like this:


And if I click on a link to change it, I notice they’ve all been converted using the "link URL" instead of using the "Link list" for selecting pages in the site.

Because the client has started updating the site I guess I’ll have to manually re link everything which is a bit of a disaster as there’s about 200 pages on the site!

Does anyone know how this happened?

Actually, I can’t even re-link everything manually. The weird thing is that an entire section of pages no longer shows up in the "Link list" and only links to pages in this section seem to have the MyPHP admin code.

Anyone know how to get those pages back into the list?

Doesn’t look to be links limited to that one section, looks to be any link created in the Rich Text Editor. Have also checked the local upgrade version in MAMP and the weird code is there as well so it must have been from the 0.9.6 database dump?

The main thing I’m worried about is that an entire section is not showing up in the tinyMCE "Link List" menu - does anyone know how to get that to appear?

At some point the "Link List" menu has completely disappeared - not sure when.

Starting to get calls from the client asking what’s going on - does anyone know how to fix this? I’m assuming it’s a tinyMCE issue?

OK, it looks like the "Link List" only works in Firefox but an entire section of the website doesn’t appear in the list. Does anyone have ideas on how to get this sorted?

are you using plesk?
and dit you export and import the database in plesk? (phpmyadmin via plesk)

You can do a export again and search for the string and remove it then import the db again.

Thank you for posting, yes my hosting provider uses Plesk.

After doing a bit more searching I found the same issue occurs with a few CMSs like Expression Engine etc under Plesk. I’ll talk to my hosting provider to see what the story is.

Do you know if this will be causing the issues with the "Links List" from tinyMCE?
