[SOLVED] Moving an Evo 1.0 installation - "Warning: fopen" errors

    Hi There,

    I’m trying to move an Evo 1.0 installation to another hosting provider. The site displays but when I type in /manager/ to login I get this error:
    Warning: fopen(/usr/local/www/vhosts/domain.com/httpdocs/assets/templates/manager/login.html) [function.fopen]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /usr/local/www/vhosts/domain.com/httpdocs/manager/includes/accesscontrol.inc.php  on line 130

Warning: filesize() [function.filesize]: stat failed for /usr/local/www/vhosts/domain.com/httpdocs/assets/templates/manager/login.html in /usr/local/www/vhosts/domain.com/httpdocs/manager/includes/accesscontrol.inc.php on line 131

Warning: fread(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource in /usr/local/www/vhosts/domain.com/httpdocs/manager/includes/accesscontrol.inc.php on line 131

    I did try and upgrade to Evo 1.0.3 but none of the TVs showed up in manager - just the built-in content resource.

    I’m not sure how to trouble shoot this or what’s wrong. The arguments on lines 130, 131 & 132 of the file "accesscontrol.inc.php" are:
    130 $handle = fopen($tplFile, "r");
131 $tpl = fread($handle, filesize($tplFile));
132 fclose($handle);


    I’ve run 777 on the cache and other asset folders etc.

    At this point I just need to move the installation to the new provider and will worry about trouble shooting the Evo 1.0.3 upgrade later on.

    Any help would be much appreciated.

        I’m still a bit confused sorry. I’m unable to complete all the steps from that tutorial because I can’t login, and I can’t run the installer as Evo 1.0 isn’t available for download.

        How do you manually change the paths?

          FTP to your site, and make sure that assets/templates/manager/login.html exists and has read permissions; if it does not, upload it.

            I had a version of Evo 1.0.2 so ran the installer with no problems.

            However, I still can’t login (same error as above) and now when I try to preview the site I get a parse error:
            « MODx Parse Error »

MODx encountered the following error while attempting to parse the requested resource:

            Obviously the paths are incorrect but how do you set them - and does it seem weird that the installer had no issues?

            Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

              Check to make sure that the assets/snippets/wayfinder directory got uploaded correctly.

                Thanks Susan,

                I decided to remove all the files and start again so can’t check for the Wayfinder files specifically. But when I checked for the files from the first error shown at the start of the thread, they were all there. Will reinstall and see how I get on.
